Eileen Rojas-Lopez - Red Door Property Group LLC, The Landlord Collaborative LLC
Eileen has been investing since 2009, when she became an “accidental landlord.” Since then, she has dabbled in many different real estate strategies, from house-hacking with airbnb to wholesaling to creative-financing. She is also licensed as a real estate salesperson in the State of New Jersey. In the last few years, Eileen and her husband have focused on building a portfolio of small multi-family properties in South Jersey and New Mexico. She recently launched The Landlord Collaborative, an online membership community for newer and smaller landlords to exchange ideas and solutions through meaningful connections with each other in a supportive, collaborative environment offering guidance, education, systems and tools, and accountability to build confidence in managing and optimizing their rental properties, and growing their portfolios.

In addition to Joe's full-time job and over six years of real estate investing experience, Joe has done several BRRRRs, long distance real estate investing, and multi-family investing. He self manages his portfolio which includes multiple properties in NJ and out of state. Joe also invests in NJ tax liens and has recently endeavored into private money lending and partnerships. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience when it comes to team building and leadership through his full time and real estate investment endeavors. 2024 SJREIA Board of Director.
Ron Odom - Since 1996, Ron has invested in real estate. A diversified businessman, Ron has hands-on expertise and is a recognized authority in the areas of remodeling, buying, selling, leasing and management of single-family homes. In 2009, Ron was awarded The Landlord of the Year plaque by The Camden City Housing Authority for providing outstanding residential properties to Section 8 participants throughout Camden County.
Ron also has extensive knowledge in the use of and trusts as a means of asset protection. Ron is also engaged in real estate education. From the bottom up, Ron regularly consults with clients on real estate opportunities. His business experience has proven invaluable to both novice and experienced investors alike. Ron is currently the Leader of the Financial Literacy Subgroup and SJREIA Board Secretary.
PANELIST Cathi Macheda has been a Realtor for almost 30 years - 29 of those with Action USA Rader Realty. 4 years ago she inherited the brokerage from her now 97 year old friend, Shirley Rader, who continues to keep her 70+ year Real Estate licensed hand in talking to clients. Cathi’s daughter, Catiee. joined her three years ago and worked to become the other full-time agent.
Obviously a small brokerage, they appreciate their 11 part-time agents to back them up when needed, as they all greatly enjoy working with Buyers & Sellers - but specialize in Property Management & also assisting landlords & investors to acquire more properties. They currently manage about 35 long-term residential rentals - 4 short term rentals - & 14 college housing properties.

He has been in the industry since 2014 and has been working with Esposito Insurance Group since 2017. Rich focuses on insuring South Jersey properties for real estate investors and is also a private money lender. Rich lives in south jersey and raised 2 daughters with his wife Karyn.
