Presentation by Matt O'Donnell of Bay Hill Environmental

With the new Lead Paint Law in Philadelphia, and to protect your family from health problems caused by lead exposure, you may find yourself in need of a lead paint inspection service. At this meeting, Matt O'Donnell of Bay Hill Environmental, will discuss the new law and also the numerous reasons why you want to test your home for lead-based paints.

Rental Property Owners seeking exemption from the State of New Jersey Lead Hazard Control Assistance Act or in need of documentation for insurance, financing, or other reasons
Current Home Owners that are considering renovation, remodeling, or demolition work that would disturb painted surfaces and may generate lead dust hazards. Or homeowners desiring specific information about lead-based paint
Perspective Home Buyers that are considering purchasing a property – specifically if the property was built prior to 1978

Matt will discuss:

  • New Jersey's New Lead-Based Paint in Rental Dwellings Law (P.L.2021, c.182)
  • What you need to know as a landlord
  • How the Law will be enforced (Each Municipality is in charge of enforcing it themselves)
  • Who is exempt from the law
  • When you will need to comply

Matt O'Donnell is an owner in his family business Bay Hill Environmental.  Founded in 2005, Bay Hill specializes in Lead Paint Inspections/Risk Assessments and completes thousands of inspections yearly.  Matt's daily focus is the growth of the business and expanding into different territories.  Bay Hill currently covers all of New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware.  Their mission is to "Protect and Educate our local communities about the risks of lead hazards."
