EXECUTIVE BOARD Candidates:
Candidate for Vice President

Current - Chris Rydbom

Served on the Board for a few terms now. I am asking for re-election into my current position of Vice President. Over the years I have been a voice of moving into the current age of technology and having more online opportunities to participate with the REIA. Also as a board member we are here for the the betterment of the REIA for the Members. We have made strides forward, there is more to do and I ask for your vote to continue working in the benefit of the membership.

Candidate for Vice President
Justin Fraser

Justin Fraser has been a real estate investor since 2014, when he bought a single family home as a rental property. Since then, he formed Liberty Property Investing to flip houses and hold rental properties. In May of 2018, Justin formed 88 Real Estate Capital and closed on his first apartment syndication, raising over $600k for the deal.

Justin has been a volunteer at SJREIA - Central for about three years and has been running the Princeton meeting since Mid-2017. Justin regularly speaks at local meetups and is always willing to talk real estate with anyone looking to get started in the business. As the candidate for Vice President of SJREIA, Justin’s goal is to expand the types of educational content available for our members as well as increase opportunities for investors to build or grow their real estate business.

Candidate for Treasurer
Current - Jinny Hurley

I am an Executive Assistant to the doctors at the American Red Cross by day and do SJREIA work on my lunch break and in the evenings.  I have been with SJREIA since 2007 and have been on the board in some capacity since 2009.  Anyone who comes to the Cherry Hill Main meetings knows me as the one who can talk and yell without a microphone!  I do many, many things for the Association such as paperwork, running events, keeping the books, and storing things at my house. I love being part of SJREIA and helping out!

Candidate for Treasurer
Dave Cantera

I would be happy to help SJREIA run the finances of the organization and keep the reports up-to-date and in a timely manner.

Mr Cantera has a degree in Mechanical Engineering and has owned several businesses mainly in the IT field. For 15 yrs, Mr Cantera sold accounting systems and wrote software supporting accounting systems and databases during that time.

Currently, Mr Cantera is a real estate broker and a business broker helping business owners buy or sell.

John Albert Maurer, Jr.

I grew up in Philadelphia. Immediately after High School, I began working full time for my Uncle Harry at Hermann Henssler Locksmith in North Philadelphia.  In 1998, at the age of 39, I purchased both the property and the name from my uncle and became the sole owner and proprietor.

In 1991, I purchased my first Rental Property and became a Landlord.  Subsequently, I have purchased 13 additional properties, all located in South Jersey.  I am and have been a member of the Lehigh Manor Estates Association Board of Directors since 2011.  I currently own 2 Properties belonging to that Association.

In 2001, I moved from Philadelphia to Erial, NJ.  I have been a member of the South Jersey Investors Group since 1991.  It is my desire to run as a Member of the Operating Board to help improve our Association.

Clyde Jones

I’m a newer investor.  I’ve been investing for the past few years and learned a tremendous amount about real estate investing in my short time investing.  I come from an IT (Information Technology) background where I was a manager there.  Going from managing IT to managing real estate was a totally different experience.  While I was still able to utilize some of my skill sets it was a big learning curve.

What I can bring to the table is fresh Ideas and a different perspective that may take some out of their comfort zone.
