Erik recently left corporate America after 20+ years and jumped head first into real estate investing. He spent much of 2017 educating himself, forming relationships, and analyzing hundreds of deals before he picked up a multi-family apartment in NJ (which he now manages). He also offers private capital to his network and is always working on deals to fill the investment pipeline.
For more than a year, he has made an impact on SJREIA by volunteering his time in various roles such as offering marketing strategies to the board and acting as co-lead for the Princeton subgroup. In addition, Erik spearheads and runs Princeton’s Facebook Live event every month. Due to positive feedback from the events, Erik has been asked to bring the Facebook Live format to the Cherry Hill main meetings.
On occasion, Erik shares his decades of experience in creative, branding, and marketing strategies to various REIA groups in NJ and PA. He also loves to share his experiences in real estate investing by offering details on his first deal to new investors with the hopes to inspire those looking for their first investment opportunity. Along with his business partner Justin Fraser, he coaches new investors on how to identify, network, and secure their first deal.
Erik holds a BFA from the School of Visual Arts in NYC and lives in Robbinsville, NJ, with his wife and two daughters. He is the owner and founder of both the Mindado Investment Group and the creative agency On Air Brands, a partner in First Deal Coaches, and host of the Entrepreneurs Circle podcast, which highlights the stories of successful entrepreneurs and shares them with the world.
