Evan Shweky is a commercial lender, attorney, speaker and mentor. He began Delarosa Lending Group (“DLG”) in 2018 providing short-term, first mortgage, asset-backed loans for contractors and investors doing fix & flips.  After completing multiple fix & flips personally, experiencing the successes and pitfalls, he realized his financial and legal expertise was better utilized helping other achieve their success. Delarosa has since expanded its operations to include commercial real estate development and in addition, through Delarosa Asset Management, is an investor/owner/operator with a portfolio of multi-family apartment complexes.  Evan began his career as a commercial real estate attorney advising on disposition of distressed real estate portfolios and as counsel to landlords and developers. Needing a change, he leveraged his experience and headed to Wall Street in 1998, ultimately as a proprietary equities trader with the Royal Bank of Canada’s Capital Markets Group leading a team of 15 traders.  Evan earned a joint JD (with Honors)/MBA from the University of Connecticut and an LL.M in Taxation from New York University.  He holds a BA in Economics from Tufts University.
