As Subgroup Leader of SJREIA’s Newbie’s Subgroup I hold an “open discussion forum” approach with occasional special presentations based on topics of interest requested by meeting attendees.

I have served as SJREIA's Vice President and am looking forward to 2 more years of contributing to our organization.

(Current Treasurer) Donna Topham

I have been an active SJREIA member for 16 years and have volunteered in numerous capacities. I am currently the Treasurer, Business Affiliate Coordinator and (remove was) have been the annual EXPO Chairperson for the past 3 years.

Prior to Real Estate, I was in Banking for 27 years.  My RE experience is mostly in rehabbing appx 20 properties mostly in Camden and Burlington counties. I also own and manage a few rentals. I have also done several wholesale deals.  I attend as many webinars and meetings as time permits to continue to learn and network for opportunities.

I credit SJREIA, volunteer subgroup leaders, several business affiliates and various mentors among us for providing quality information that has gotten me to this point in my real estate career. I try to pay it forward with our current members as time permits.

(Current Director) Erik Cabral

A few years ago, Erik left corporate America after 20+ years and jumped head first into real estate investing. He spent much of 2017 educating himself, forming relationships, and analyzing hundreds of deals before he picked up a multi-family apartment in NJ (which he now manages). He also offers private capital to his network and is always working on deals to fill the investment pipeline.

For more than a year, he has made an impact on SJREIA by volunteering his time in various roles such as offering marketing strategies to the board and acting as co-lead for the Princeton subgroup. In addition, Erik spearheads and runs Princeton’s Facebook Live event every month. Due to positive feedback from the events, Erik has been asked to bring the Facebook Live format to the Cherry Hill main meetings.

On occasion, Erik shares his decades of experience in creative, branding, and marketing strategies to various REIA groups in NJ and PA. He also loves to share his experiences in real estate investing by offering details on his first deal to new investors with the hopes to inspire those looking for their first investment opportunity. Along with his business partner Justin Fraser, he coaches new investors on how to identify, network, and secure their first deal.

Erik holds a BFA from the School of Visual Arts in NYC and lives in Robbinsville, NJ, with his wife and two daughters. He is the owner and founder of both the Mindado Investment Group and the creative agency On Air Brands, a partner in First Deal Coaches, and host of the Entrepreneurs Circle podcast, which highlights the stories of successful entrepreneurs and shares them with the world.

Candidate Michael J. Lerman

Meet Michael >>

My name is Michael J. Lerman. I was born and raised in NJ, and have lived here all my life.  I have been a business affiliate of SJREIA for 2 years.  My professional background is in Operations. I was the COO for Truefoods running over 500 restaurants nationwide. I have owned and operated a variety of businesses in addition to real estate. My experience also includes running real estate networking meetings. I have a large network of real estate colleagues and entrepreneurs that I connect with. Also, I have been the board president and VP of several different Condo Associations across NJ.

I have been buying and flipping real estate for over 20 years.  Currently, I own over 50 multi family properties and I self manage them all. I purchase about 5-7 properties a year. In addition, I have my real estate license which I utilize this for investment purposes only.

I have a wealth of knowledge to share. I really enjoy helping new investors in the real estate world.  I have mentored many new investors over the years. I live locally in Cherry Hill.  I am self employed and have a flexible schedule. I would love to continue to bring the SJREIA to new levels of membership and make SJREIA the best it can possibly be.

Candidate Patrick A. Neely

Meet Patrick >>

I am a NJ Broker, Richard Neely Real Estate, currently studying for my PA Brokers License. I have been originating financing since 2006 for investors and owner occupants. I have been a SJREIA member for many years.

I also led the bus tour through Burlington city hosting approx 25 SJREIA members through the city.

I would like to collaborate with the existing board. I would like to participate to make SJREIA have cost effective planning and delivery of value to its members. Growing with marketing, which I can do with digital marketing ads.
